In 2005 I made the career decision to stop being solely self-employed and seek full-time employment alongside my own projects. I was looking for something different but not intentionally to work in the charity sector.

As it happened, the position that caught my eye was as Web Editor at Cancer Research UK, the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. It was the best career move I ever made.

Over the course of almost two years I worked with truly inspirational people on Cancer Research UK's News & Resources cancer information website and related campaign microsites.
